Description
A side protection net in accordance with the EN1263-1 and DGUV Information 201-011 standards has an integrated border with a chained rope (protection net system U).
The standards EN 1263-1 and DGUV Information 201-011 are of crucial importance for both side protection nets and nets in roof safety scaffolds. These nets fall under the category of protective net system U (protective net in supporting structures for vertical use). When using nets, there is no need to use an intermediate beam. Our side protection nets meet all prescribed requirements and are characterized by excellent quality and a long service life.
A circumferential end rope about 9 mm thick is attached to the net (see example image). An additional rope is sewn or chained over the edge stitches. This ensures a clean edge on all sides of the net and at the same time offers stable and resilient attachment points. Both the end edge and all seams are color-coordinated with the net.
The protective net is made of braided, dyed polypropylene filament yarn. This synthetic fiber is extremely tear-resistant and stable. Thanks to the knotless interweaving, which is just as stable as a knotted connection, the net retains its dimensional stability.
The material is of course 100% non-toxic, and contact with mucous membranes (mouth, eyes) poses no danger. Our safety nets are both weather-resistant and UV-stabilized, meaning they can be used both outdoors and indoors.
